Congressional candidate Patricia Ackerman announces campaign manager
CARSON CITY — Congressional candidate Patricia Ackerman announced Michael Cullen as her campaign manager. Cullen most recently served as the Nevada Political Director for Secretary Julián Castro’s presidential campaign. He was also a member of Hillary Clinton’s Nevada team in 2016.
“Michael is a well-regarded, highly respected campaign professional who knows Northern Nevada,” said Ackerman. “With his field, communications, and political experience, I am thrilled to have him lead the team that will turn CD 2 blue.”
Cullen is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California and Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to serving on Castro’s presidential campaign, he practiced law at Atkinson, Anderson, Loya, Rudd & Romo.
“It’s been a privilege to get to know Patricia Ackerman over the last several months. I know that she is in this race for the right reasons,” said Cullen. “I am confident that as residents of Northern Nevada get to know Patricia, they will recognize that she is the best candidate to represent residents of CD 2 in Washington, where she will fight for better jobs and healthcare, combat climate change, and protect our public lands.”
