The Porch Movement sends big 'thank you' to the Carson City, Carson Valley, Reno communities
The Porch Movement would like to thank the communities of Gardnerville, Minden, Carson City, and Reno for your generous support of our first fundraiser on Dec. 3, The Pins For The Porch.
So many local businesses were ready to support our community building efforts. We are deeply grateful for your generosity. You have helped us get a third of the way to our big goal. It has been a joy getting to meet so many kind and caring people as we get this movement rolling. We are here to serve you and partner with you in building a strong and connected community.
We had 14 teams show up to have fun at the Bowl-A-Thon. And we definitely had fun together!! A huge shout out to Home Grown Bowl for hosting us. Jennifer & Danny Dunbar and their team were amazing!
The only way we can build community one porch environment at a time is with people like you who care about building a strong community. We are just getting started and would love for you to join us as we seek to eradicate the Loneliness Epidemic.
Our goal is to build a strong sense of community by inspiring people to open up their porches in their neighborhoods. Or get creative by creating porch environments where we can get to really know one another and begin to care for those around us.
