Sierra Nevada Ballet partners with the Brewery Arts Center, the Reno Little Theater, and Steinway Piano Gallery to produce an exciting program that has become a signature SNB annual tradition.

Brew, Brats and Ballet – A Celebration of New Choreography features brand new short choreographic works by local and out of state artists.

A nomadic people, Mongolians used storytelling to pass down traditions and lore from generation to generation, leaving few written records. The tradition of cutting designs out of felt, paper, or other materials are ancient. Now residing in Reno, NV, with his wife, Sturo is establishing a new, unique style of American Fine Art. “The Tsagasun Baru” Silhouette Fine Art will be on display for all to experience.

Once a month the Maizie Theater hosts rising stars in the songwriting world from both near and far. Friday April 5th features Jessica Malone with opening act Haley Bond.

Violinists Laurentiu Norocel and Claire Tatman collaborate with Reno’s own master violin maker, Tim Dodd, in a reprise their August 2023 event. A combination concert and informal discussion will take place as well as a demonstration of the “anatomy” and function of violins. This concert will feature violin solos and duets played by the artists using violins made by Mr. Dodd.

The Sierra Sweethearts have been playing their sassy mix of Cowgirl, Bluegrass, Classic County and Doo Wop music throughout Northern Nevada and California since 2014. From Susanville to Death Valley, Eureka to Santa Cruz, they’ve put in some miles spreading their music to Historic Opera Houses and Theaters throughout “Gold Rush” country, Festivals, Weddings, Country Dances and backroad taverns.

The Proscenium Players Inc. improv group invites you to unleash your creativity, sharpen your wit, and connect with fellow performers in a welcoming and supportive environment.

High Sierra Swing Dance Club’s monthly lesson & dance welcomes a variety of guest instructors to teach Intermediate lessons from 6:30-7:30pm.

Open social dancing follows from 7:30-9:30pm. All levels welcome, no partner needed.

Lesson and Dance are each $15 ($10 for HSSDC Members). No advanced tickets, pay at the event.

Prepare for an evening of onstage fun and frolic as the audience influences the action!

Since meeting in Nashville ten years ago the Americana Country duo Lance & Lea has been on fire. Their first album “There Goes My Heart,” with Grammy award winning producer Paul Worley went on to garner airplay in the UK, Ireland, and in Music City, Nashville Tennessee.
