Carson High School senior class leave 2023 print on C-Hill

The tradition continues as members of Carson High School's Senior Class of 2023 show their spirit and pride by changing the painted rocks on the west side of Carson City's C-Hill overnight.
The painted rocks are switched annually in the spring tradition and then are changed back before the start of the new school year at the end of summer.

Carson City Sheriff's Office had made four warrant arrests over the past two days, according to CCSO recent arrests and bookings.

Nevada governor signs historic education budget and school safety bills

On Wednesday evening, Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo signed the K-12 Education Funding Bill, in addition to AB 330, which is Governor Lombardo’s Safer and Supportive Schools Act, and AB 285, Assemblywoman Angie Taylor’s school safety legislation.
