Carson Tahoe Cancer Resource Center hosted its “Think Pink” event Wednesday at Red’s Old 395 Grill in Carson City. More than 300 people attended the free kick off event to empower women to take control of their health and get their regular mammograms. Individuals who purchased a “Think Pink” pink t-shirt enjoyed free appetizers courtesy of Red’s Old 395 Grill and 100 percent of proceeds from bar sales, raffle ticket sales and t-shirt sales went to the Carson Tahoe Cancer Resource Center for breast cancer education and support.

Additionally, for the month of October, Carson Tahoe Health will be providing $50 cash pay mammograms for those who are underinsured or uninsured. For more information, visit CarsonTahoe.com/BreastHealth.
