Here is the Carson City road construction and maintenance report for the week of March 25-31.
Because of continued construction of the Carson City Freeway project, Snyder Avenue is closed between E. Roland Street and Center Drive. Center Drive and Silver Sage Drive are also closed south of Appion Way. Bennett Avenue is closed between Center Drive and Bigelow Drive. Detours will be marked.
Utility work will have the following traffic impacts:
— Tuesday, March 26 through Thursday, March 28, work along the south side of E. Fifth Street just east of Parkland Avenue.
— Work along the entire length of Glenbrook Circle.
Fifth Street will be closed between Carson Street and Stewart Street during the following dates and times due to scheduled special events. Each closure is expected to last for approximately one hour.
— Monday, March 25, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
— Thursday, March 28, beginning at 4:45 p.m.
On Thursday, March 28, Third Street will be closed between Carson Street and Curry Street from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. due to a special event.
