
A man who caused a disturbance at a South Carson Street business Tuesday was arrested for suspicion of felony possession of credit cards withouts the holder’s consent and other offenses.
Zachary Orawiec was taken into custody at 4:37 p.m. He was also booked for suspicion of misdemeanor assault and trespassing.
According to the booking report, deputies responded to the 1400 block of South Carson Street for a report of a fight in the parking lot. Deputies were advised Orawiec was attempting to fight with store employees and customers.
Deputies arrived and observed the man yelling at employees, who were standing on the sidewalk near the entrance doors. The suspect was holding a dog leash in his hands that was made of chain.
The deputy ordered the man to drop the chain. The man extended the chain and approached the officer while yelling and screaming. He was ordered multiple times to drop the chain, in which he did. The man was ordered to remove his backpack and to keep his hands out of his pockets. He refused to drop the backpack and continued to yell at employees standing on the sidewalk, the report states.
The officer approached him and removed the backpack from his shoulders and placed him into handcuffs. The man was advised he was being detained. The man was combative and attempted to pull away from deputies. Deputies were able to gain control of the man and placed him in the rear of a patrol vehicle, the report states.
The watch commander arrived and attempted to speak with the man, who then became verbally aggressive with the watch commander and began kicking the doors and windows of the patrol vehicle, the report states.
After he was secured in the vehicle, deputies spoke with the reporting party (RP) who who advised he was working in the store and heard yelling and screaming. The RP advised the suspect had been previously trespassed from the store due to a verbal confrontation with another store employee.
The RP stated he called 911 to report the incident. The suspect had exited the store, with the RP exiting the store to get a clothing description. The RP stated the man got into his face and was yelling at him and then threw a cigarette lighter at him, the report states.
The suspect was advised he was under arrest for trespassing. Deputies conducted a search of his person and backpack and located a Nevada driver’s license issued to another person, as well as four debit/credit cards. Two of the cards were Visa bank cards and two were Mastercard cards, all issued to another person. There was also a Nevada Medicaid card issued to another person. Bail: $5,874.

— A South Lake Tahoe, Calif., man, Christopher Michael Easley, was arrested Tuesday in the area of Saliman and Robinson Street for a felony warrant issued out of Tahoe Township. Bail: $500.
— A 42-year-old man, Audie Lee Maze, was arrested for two outside agency warrants, one, a felony warrant out of Missouri and the other out of East Fork Justice Court. No bail hold for the Missouri warrant. Bail for the East Fork Justice warrant, $1,000.
