Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of May 24-30, 2021. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Little Lane will be closed in the westbound direction, Monday through Friday, all day for construction of a development project. Eastbound traffic will remain open. Pedestrian access will be provided. Please drive safely.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Curry Street between Lake Glen Drive and 10th Street will be reduced to one-lane with flagger controls, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for the start of a waterline extension project. Please use caution in the area and expect short delays.
— Fairview Drive may have a rolling lane closure with flaggers between 5th Street and US 50, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility inspections. Flagger operations may be in effect.
— Saliman Road will have lane closures and lane shifts in both directions between 5th Street and Fairview Drive, Thursday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility installation associated with new development and new roadway improvements.
— Saliman Road will have lane closures and lane shifts northbound between Como Street and Telegraph Street, Tuesday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for electric utility work associated with ongoing development projects.
