Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, 2026. Closures and lane reductions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work. Go here to view a map of the road closures and lane restrictions happening this week.
7th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
Coral Way between San Marcus Drive and Savage Circle will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Plaza Street between 5th Street and 7th Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
San Marcus Drive between Coral Way and Thompson Street will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Southern portion of the William Street and Saliman Road intersection will be closed nightly from Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Eastbound and Westbound traffic will remain open during the closure.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
5th Street between Roop Street and Stewart Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Sunday.
5th Street between Saliman Road and Warm Springs Court will have lane shifts from Monday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Arc Dome Drive between Cone Peak Drive and Copper Mountain Drive will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Clearview Drive between Cochise Street and Carson Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Cone Peak Drive between Copper Mountain Drive and Race Track Road will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Copper Mountain Drive between Arc Dome Drive and Cone Peak Drive will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Curry Street between 2nd Street and Musser Street will have shoulder work from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Edmonds Drive between Snyder Avenue and Fairview Drive will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Montgomery Pass Court will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Race Track Road between Center Drive and Bigelow Drive will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Roop Street between Musser Street and 5th Street will have lane restrictions from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Roop Street between Little Lane and 5th Street will have reduced lanes and lane shifts from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Sawtooth Ridge Drive between Arc Dome Drive and Copper Mountain Drive will have lane restrictions from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Airport Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Sunday.
