The Greenhouse Project’s annual silent auction kicks off online on Monday, Sept. 7, two weeks ahead of the live event during our Grateful Harvest Dinner, taking  place Monday, Sept. 21.

While the dinner is sold out, we invite everyone to jump on-line to bid on the array of items offered this year.

The auction and dinner are TGP’s primary fundraiser, allowing us to continue our mission of Growing, Giving and Teaching for a Healthier, Greener, Sustainable Community.

We provide ag education to Carson High School students via our state-of-the-art growing facility, Green Central, and Sustainability Hub that includes our Native Plant Nursery and Composting Program, all located on the CHS campus. We also operate Foothill Garden on the Carson Tahoe Health Medical Campus. Produce grown at both sites is distributed to the food insecure in our community.

To participate in the auction, visit www.carsoncitygreenhouse.org, register and place your bid. You can check in and up your bid until 7:30 p.m., Sept.21,  when bidding closes. Winners need not be present to win. We recommend that those attending the dinner register for the auction in advance, though if you need help completing that process, staff will be available that evening to help.
