Greater Nevada Mortgage and Nevada Rural Housing will host a free, virtual webinar titled “Down Payment Assistance in Nevada: Understanding the Rural Rocks $20K Program” on Tuesday, January 27 at 5:00 p.m. The webinar is designed to help Nevada homebuyers better understand available down payment assistance options and determine whether they may qualify.
The session will provide a clear overview of the Rural Rocks $20K Down Payment Assistance Program, including eligibility requirements, how the program works, and what prospective buyers should expect during the application process. The webinar will also highlight that more areas and buyers may qualify for assistance than commonly assumed.
The webinar will be led by Kevin Hickey, Homeownership Programs Manager at Nevada Rural Housing, and Jeff Newberry, Executive Vice President of Greater Nevada Mortgage. Together, they will share insights from both the program administration and lending perspectives, offering attendees a practical and educational overview.
