Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Wednesday morning to a vehicle crash in the area of North Saliman and East Long Street. It is the third crash reported Wednesday morning.
A CCFD battalion chief noted one person declining medical attention. The crash was reported just before 11 a.m. Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies are doing traffic control. Motorists can expect delays.
Earlier accidents Wednesday morning included a single vehicle crash into a fence reported at 8:04 a.m. in the 3700 block of North Carson Street in which the patient was taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. A battalion chief noted the driver may have suffered a medical emergency. At 8:48 a.m. a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the 3200 block of Highway 50 East. The pedestrian declined medical attention.
