Tahoe Ridge Winery appears to have closed down its retail winery operations in Carson City over the summer, according to information obtained by the Carson City Business License Division.

The winery had its business license revoked on Aug. 17, said Carson City Business Licensing Specialist Sabrina Wheeler.

Wheeler did not have information about when the business actually vacated the space at 1105 S. Carson Street.

After moving its retail winery and bistro restaurant from Minden to Carson City in 2015, Tahoe Ridge ended up closing The Bistro right after Christmas last year and did not reopen it.

The winery, however, continued to operate in the back of the building with its tasting room through at least the first half of 2016.

Now both the winery and its bistro are gone. The business no longer has a web site and its telephone number has been disconnected. Neither its Facebook nor Twitter pages have been updated in a year or more.

Messages have been left with the property management firm, the Carrington Company of Eureka, CA. We will update on the exact date the space was vacated as that information becomes available.
