The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 34-year-old woman reported missing at south shore Lake Tahoe and may be in danger. Authorities are not saying why she may be in danger, however, the region is experiencing frigid weather conditions.

The missing woman is April Torres, 34. She has olive complexion. It is believed that she was wearing red jogging pants with a white stripe on the side, a gray ski jacket with a spider logo. April has a tattoo of a heart between her thumb and index finger on her right hand.

April was last seen at approximately 3:30 a.m. by her mother at the Montbleu asino, in Stateline. April was on foot when she was last seen and does not have a vehicle. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue have been deployed and are actively searching the area.
