Here is the Carson City road report for the week of Dec. 30, 2024 to Jan. 5, 2025. Closures and lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work.

— 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.

— Commerce Way between Executive Pointe Way and Lompa Lane will be closed to traffic from Monday through Sunday.

— Curry Street between King Street and 2nd Street will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:   

— Fairview Lane between Carson Street and Kansas Street will have reduced eastbound lanes from December 9, 2024, to Jan. 30, 2025, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

— Lanes will be reduced on Gillis between Baker Street and Sonoma Street on Monday between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. 

— Market Street, south of College Parkway will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
