Celebrating its eighth year, Dr. Merritt Dunlap’s office in Carson City hosted an Angel Tree project, raising nearly $15,000 in monetary donations and gifts for more than 200 Northern Nevada foster children.
For eight years, Dr. Dunlap’s office has partnered with the Department of Child and Family Services for the Angel Tree project.
To prepare for the gift-giving season and bring attention to the Angel Tree project, Dr. Dunlap’s office held a Dec. 4 gift giving event with Santa Claus and special guest Miss Nevada Karrina Ferris.
Below are photos from the Dec. 4 event as well as the shopping day with the Carson Valley Cinderella Girls, where they shopped for gifts to go to the foster children.
“Our office is so grateful for the all the donations from our patients who makes this wonderful event such a success!” said Julie Dunlap, practice manager for Dr. Dunlap’s office.
