Carson City unemployment fell slightly to 3.3 percent in November, according the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s latest metropolitan area statistics released Tuesday.

Carson City’s October unemployment was between 3.5 and 3.6 percent.

Statewide, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.8 percent in November 2021 down 0.4 percent from October 2021. Seasonally adjusted estimates account for regularly seen economic patterns, with the following estimates not seasonally adjusted.

Reno had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.9 percent. In October unemployment there was 3.2 percent. Las Vegas has the highest metro unemployment at 6.3 percent in November. In October it was 6.6 percent.

In Nevada’s counties, the lowest unemployment rate was in Eureka County at 2.1 percent, and Clark County had the highest rate at 6.3 percent. For county by county unemployment rate go to the Area Profiles Page here.
