Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of December 13-19, 2021. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Caroline Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will be closed, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for sewer and water line replacement. Please plan accordingly.
— Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed in the northbound direction, Monday – Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for road construction. Pedestrian closures and detours will also be in place. Please plan accordingly.
— Kings Canyon Road west of Longview Way remains closed 7 days a week, all day, for roadway reconstruction. Only local residential access will be provided. The Waterfall Trailhead and parking area is closed. There is no access and no parking for the trails. Please do not come up Kings Canyon unless you live in the area.
— Marvin Drive between Carroll Drive and Chernus Drive will be closed, Wednesday, 7:00am to 2:00pm, for utility work.
— Spear Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will be closed, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for sewer and water line replacement. Please plan accordingly.
— Spear Street at Division Street will be closed, Wednesday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for sewer and water line replacement. Please plan accordingly.
— Spear Street at Nevada Street will be closed, Monday through Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for sewer and water line replacement. Please plan accordingly.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Center Drive between Koontz Lane and Valley View Drive will have shoulder work, Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Conte Drive between Hudson Drive and Snyder Avenue will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, for utility work.
— 5th Street between Pasture Drive and Well Way will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Wednesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for crane operation.
— Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction. Please use caution and expect delays.
— Marian Avenue at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Molly Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Robinson Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will have roadway work, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for survey and other project preparation activities.
— Roop Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm, for roadway reconstruction.
— Saliman Road at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— State Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Telegraph Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will have shoulder work, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for survey and other project preparation activities.
