Dashing through the snow via a U.S.S. Nevada Burning Man Art Car will be the order of the morning for Santa Claus, a band of elves and anyone who wishes to participate in Saturday’s Downtown Carson City Christmas Parade.

Telegraph Square will be the place to meet up for this Christmas themed parade sponsored by Carson City Downtown 20/20. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade, just make sure to be lined up at the corner of Telegraph and Curry Street. Lineup begins at 10:30 a.m. the parade starts at 11 a.m. sharp. Costumes, ugly sweaters, not ugly sweaters, pirate wear and Santa hats are welcomed.

Once Santa arrives in Telegraph Square, he will available on the porch of Rockin and Rolling from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bring your camera for pictures. Vendors will be in the Square with some holiday gift options, in addition to face painting and a gift basket raffle. Raffle tickets are currently available at Rocking and Rolling at 402 N. Curry St.

Warm up your belly with some yummy food at food trucks, Nevada Nosh and Tahoe Tenderloin. FISH is hosting a food drive, so make sure to bring something non-perishable for those in need during the holiday season.
