Carson City and Carson Valley area casinos saw a 1.86 percent increase in gaming generated revenue for October, while casinos at South Shore Lake Tahoe report gaming earnings up 18.72 percent, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except South Shore Lake Tahoe saw gambling revenue, also known as “gaming win” in the month of October at $11,539,898, compared to October 2023, where gaming revenue was $11,329,244.

At South Shore Lake Tahoe, gaming win was $20,823,405 for the month compared to $17,539,333 in October 2023. Elsewhere, North Lake Tahoe casinos experienced a gaming revenue decrease of 5.35 percent, or $1,786,367 for the month.

Casinos in Reno also saw a decrease of 3.08 percent, Sparks down 5.73 percent and elsewhere in Washoe County, down 4.87 percent.

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,286,209,664 for the month of October 2024. This amounts to a 2.19 percent decrease compared to October 2023, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,314,955,517.

For the fiscal year (July 1, 2024 through October 31, 2024), gaming win has decreased 2.48 percent.
