CARSON CITY, Nev.- On November 19, 2025, at approximately 5:26 p.m., the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at the location of I580 northbound just north of North Carson Street in Carson City, Nevada.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle was traveling northbound on I580 between North Carson Street and Eastlake Boulevard in the middle travel lane. For reasons undetermined at this time, a pedestrian was occupying the middle travel lane of northbound I580. The vehicle struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was subsequently struck by multiple other vehicles.
The pedestrian, April Hatton, a 34-year-old female from Reno, Nevada was pronounced deceased on scene by medical personnel.
