Kat Fisher's "Golden Glow" tied for first place in the competition.

With fall colors as the November theme, Carson City area photographers took to nature’s end-of-season foliage in search of the right eye candy worthy of the shooting task.

There was a tie for first place in this month’s Carson City Photo Club entries. The winners are:

First Place: “Barn” Dave Harrison
First Place: “Kat Fisher” Golden Glow
Second Place: “Steps to Autumn” Mark Frazitta
Third Place: “Virginia Creeper” Beth Matheus
Winner’s Choice: “Autumn Tears” Rick Pott

The Carson City Photo Club meets at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month (no meeting in December) at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Ormsby Room. Those who want to join the meeting should use the west entrance. All levels of photographers are welcome.

The theme for January will be “Macro.” Become a member for $15 per year and submit your 8×10 matted photo taken within the last year to enter in the competition. Go here for more information.
