Meet Thelma and Louise, two delightful three-year-old Border Collie mixes embarking on their next great adventure: finding a forever family.
These spirited girls arrived in our care as strays earlier this month, weathering the uncertainty of the streets side-by-side. And now that their stray hold is officially over, they are leaving their past behind and are ready to find a cozy spot by your side.

While they navigated the start of their journey together, these ladies aren’t a mandatory package deal. They are happy to find forever homes either together or separately but what matters most is finding a family ready for their unique brand of joy.
Thelma is the life of the party, a dog with a big bark and an even bigger heart. She believes life is simply too exciting to be quiet about! Smart, sweet, and incredibly intuitive, she’s the type of companion who will sniff out your mood (and a tasty treat) in seconds.
Then there’s Louise, a walking exclamation point of energy. She can be a little nervous with new people and smells, often using her voice in greetings. But if you look past the initial excited jitters, you’ll find a sensitive soul who wants nothing more than to cuddle and be reassured.
Whether you have room for one or space for two, Thelma and Louise are waiting to make your days pawsitively amazing. Meet them today at our Carson City campus located at 549 Airport Rd or learn more on our website nevadahumanesociety.org.
