By Courtney Warner — Dementia Friendly Carson City is a recently launched community group aimed at helping Carson City become more respectful, educated, supportive and inclusive of people living with dementia and their care partners.
We created a community assessment designed to measure community attitudes and awareness about dementia and dementia services. Dementia Friendly Carson City is committed to using these findings to enhance its programs, offering more inclusive community activities, educational workshops, and support networks.
