Two suspects believed to be involved in vehicle burglaries Sunday at Carson Tahoe Hospital were taken into custody Thursday afternoon at a Winnie Lane fast food restaurant by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested were Sean Conley and Amy Rodriguez. The pair face felony burglary and other charges after allegedly breaking into two vehicles belonging to Carson Tahoe Hospital employees Sunday at around 2 a.m., said Carson City Sheriff’s Office Detective Sam Hatley.

The pair used credit cards stolen in the burglaries at Walmart, where survelliance photos of them and their vehicle matched. The pair can be seen at Walmart in the surveillance photos above.

Items purchased with the stolen credit cards were found in the vehicle at the time of the arrest, said Hatley.

Hospital surveillance cameras and those from Walmart showed the suspects in what was believed to be a Chevy vehicle.

The couple were found at a fast food restaurant on Winnie Lane in a vehicle that matched the descriptions of the vehicle at the hospital, and the vehicle at Walmart, and were detained and then arrested. The vehicle was a 94 Chevy Yukon.

The original photos were published and the sheriff’s office acted on tips from the public, said Hatley, who added the Carson City Sheriff’s Office is appreciative of those calling in with tips. Go here for the photos from the hospital parking lot.
