After its Friday night kickoff, the Carson City area United Women in Faith continues its annual Holiday Craft Faire today, Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The faire is at the First United Methodist Church, 412 W. Musser Street in Carson City and features an amazing variety of crafts, gifts and other exciting items for sale including festive wreaths, a local children’s book author, handmade cards, crochet toys and animals, jewelry, resin tableware and more.

This is a great way to kick off your holiday shopping or find those lovely items you haven’t seen anywhere else.

Looking for holiday treats? The ladies will also have an extensive bake sale to tempt your taste buds. There will also be pre-baked sugar cookie decorating kits available for purchase.

All monies raised support scholarships to local students seeking post-secondary educational opportunities.

Don’t forget that our neighbors next door at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will also be having their annual sale as well on Saturday, Nov. 8 so don’t forget to drop by and see them too!
