The Oct. 13 fire at the historic Lee House in Carson City was determined to be accidental, according to a Carson City Fire Department investigator.

The fire was at 340 North Minnesota Street, at the corner of West Telegraph and is owned by Resource Concepts Inc., a civil engineering firm.

Damage is estimated to be over $500,000. The building is, known as the Lee House or Lee-Guild home. The structure was built in 1906-1907 and is on the Kit Carson Blue Line historic walk.
