UPDATE: The fire has been knocked down and some fire engines are returning to quarters.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Wednesday morning a fire involving an RV in the 2200 block of Columbia Way.
The fire, called in at around 9:45 a.m., was putting up a large amount of smoke. The RV fire is in close proximity to a residence.
People should avoid the area. Columbia Way is closed and traffic is being diverted.
