By Liz Cain — Northern Nevada‘s own mistress of the macabre and master of haunted history, Janice Oberding, is back with one of her most spirited lectures — this time raising none other than Mark Twain himself from the other side!
“Mark Twain from the Grave!” isn’t your average history talk; it’s part storytelling, and all Janice. With her trademark wit, chilling tales, and a wink of ghostly humor, Janice will conjure the voice of Twain right here in the Carriage House, only steps away from the streets where he once walked(and perhaps still lingers…). Come ready to laugh, shiver, and maybe glance over your shoulder once or twice.
The presentation is Saturday, Oct. 18, 1 p.m. at the Foreman Roberts House Museum and Carriage House, 1207 North Carson Street, Carson City. Admission is free for Carson City Historical Society members, $10 for non-members. Tickets are available at the Carson City Historical Society Society website here.
Presented in conjunction with Mark Twain Days, this is one gathering where the guest of honor is truly dying to attend. Tickets are free for Historical Society members and $10 for non-members. Snatch yours up and click the QR code below or visit us at CCHistorical.org before they disappear faster than a ghost at sunrise – because once they’re gone, even Mark Twain’s spirit can’t bring them back!
