CARSON CITY ARPA FUNDING NOTICE

n August 18, 2022, the Carson City Board of Supervisors (“Board”) approved the recommendation from the Board of Health to recognize that both unsheltered individuals and emergency housing, are critical issues in Carson City and that approximately $1.1 million from the City’s American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) funding be awarded to programs or projects that support the Carson City Housing Plan.

The funding will be awarded through a competitive grant process for a two-year grant period from February 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024.

Business entities interested in applying for the ARPA funding will be required to submit a Letter of Intent including a program or project description to Carson City via e-mail at grants@carson.org by 10/14/2022, 4:00 p.m. Carson City staff will then determine if the submitted program or project is eligible to apply for the funding. If your entity’s program or project is eligible then the contact person, listed in the Letter of Intent, will receive an application from the Carson City Grants Administrator.
