It’s Camel Race weekend! Watch out for camels and heavier than normal pedestrian traffic. Please only park in designated parking spaces.
A reminder, the Camel Hump (camels walking through Virginia City) will happen on Saturday, beginning at approximately 12:30pm.
This will be a “rolling road closure”, meaning the roads on the route will be open, but slow moving due to the camels. Deputies will be leading the route.
Do not attempt to pass the camels while the rolling road closure is in effect. The Camel Hump route is below, use an alternate route if possible.
