Carson City Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Cadets recently assisted with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, dubbed the “World’s Most Prestigious Car Show,” earning them a funding donation for future programs in thanks.
The Car Show took place from August 14-17, and cadets “played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the event, assisting with traffic control, guest interactions, and logistical operations, all while embodying an attitude of
service and excellence,” according to a CCSO spokesperson.
According to the spokesperson, the Concours d’Elegance is renowned for showcasing some of the most exquisite automobiles in the world.
“Their involvement not only provided valuable experience but also reinforced the importance of community service and engagement among young citizens,” they said.
In recognition of their work, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance pledged a donation to the CCSO Cadets program. While the amount wasn’t disclosed, the funding will be utilized for future events, uniforms, and equipment.
