Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’d deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to a vehicle crash that involved a youth riding a bicycle in the area of Long and Saliman streets. No serious injuries were reported.
The incident was reported at 2:28 p.m. The youth on the bicycle, believed to be 12 to 13 years of age, was reportedly not wearing a helmet. First responders arrived and observed the youth sitting on a curb, conscious and alert. Fire Department personnel were evaluating the youth for injuries.
Motorists can expect delays.
