It’s time to “Move It, Move It!” Wild Horse Children’s Theater invites you to break out of the everyday jungle and jump into a wildly fun, globe-trotting adventure with DreamWorks Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr.! The party swings into action April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26 at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall in Carson City. Catch the groove at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturdays and Sundays.
Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo as they trade the Central Park Zoo for a “crack-a-lackin’” adventure you won’t forget. Packed with high-energy songs, big laughs, and characters that are larger than life, this show will have you shimmying in your seat from start to finish.

When these zoo pals break free and land on the vibrant island of Madagascar, things get wild. Enter the one and only King Julien, who brings the party (and maybe a little chaos). Along the way, our friends discover that teamwork, friendship, and a little hakuna matata spirit are what really matter.
With more than 80 talented young performers lighting up the stage, this production bursts with bold costumes, energetic choreography, and show-stopping numbers. From Marty’s birthday bash to the island beats of Madagascar, it’s a non-stop celebration of fun, heart and adventure.
VIP seating in the first four rows is $25. Reserved seating is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and students, and $13 for children ages 6 and up. General admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children ages 6 and up. Children 5 and under are free when sharing a seat.
And here’s something to roar about. During the run, Wild Horse Children’s Theater is teaming up with the Whyld Foundation to support local kids. Bring a non-perishable food item like protein bars, crackers, or cereal and receive a $1 off concessions coupon.
Grab your tickets at www.wildhorsetheater.com and get ready to shake your tail feathers. This is one adventure you don’t want to miss. Move it, move it!
