By Ronni Hannaman — On Thursday, July 31, Floor Trader Outlet opened their doors in the long vacant space once occupied by True Value Hardware that had been vacant since August 2015.

This is the second flooring store owner Kayla Simons has opened in our city to meet the needs of our growing community.  Her first store, Desert Design Carpet One, located at 1440 S. Curry, officially opened on May 22.

The Floor Trader Outlet attracts the “do it yourselfer” and contractors by providing affordable “quality flooring floors at outlet prices,” according to their website floortradercarsoncity.com.  The store is currently stocked with a variety of flooring options that can be immediately taken home and installed.   Great financing options are available starting at 0% for 36 months, if qualified.

Open daily Monday through Friday between 7 am – 6 pm and on Saturday and Sunday between 9 am-5 pm for shopping convenience, the store is stocked with carpet, luxury vinyl and hardwood flooring as well as tile selections. Phone: 775-306-8667.
