A 49-year-old man was arrested early Tuesday morning for alleged battery with intent to commit sexual assault, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
Following an investigation, CCSO deputies arrested the suspect. According to the report, deputies were called at around 12:56 a.m. to a Windtree Circle residence regarding a domestic dispute.
Deputies arrived and observed the suspect outside and spoke with him. A deputy went to the residence and began speaking with the female.
She explained the man had been downstairs drinking for a portion of the evening and then came upstairs to the bedroom they share. She further explained that when he came upstairs, he laid in bed with her and tried to have sex with her, even though she was telling him no, the report states.
She showed the deputy a video from cameras in her bedroom that showed the man getting into the bed. The deputy observed the man trying to initiate sexual acts with the woman and she was telling him to stop, the report states.
Deputies interviewed the man and asked him to explain what happened. He explained that he came home from work, had dinner and drank some alcoholic beverages in the living room, the report states. He further explained that he went upstairs to lay down and the woman was telling him no, according to the report.
Due to the video footage and interviews with both, the man was placed under arrest for alleged battery with intent to commit sexual assault. Bail: $50,000.

— A 31-year-old Carson City man, Delane Black, was booked July 22 for a felony warrant alleging battery with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor warrant alleging domestic battery. Bail: $20,000.
— A 56-year-old Carson City woman was arrested July 28 for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $2,500.
— A 34-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Monday for a misdemeanor bench warrant issued Feb. 5, 2024 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000 cash. He was also booked for a misdemeanor warrant issued Jan. 7, 2025 out of Sparks Township Court. Bail: $380.
— A 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Tuesday, 5:42 a.m. in the 2700 block of Northgate Lane for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $2,500.
— A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for a misdemeanor outside agency warrant issued April 10, 2025 out of Storey County. Bail: $365.
— A 58-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday for a misdemeanor warrant alleging battery simple assault. The warrant was issued July 24, 2025 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 34-year-old Carson City man was booked Monday for a misdemeanor out of agency warrant issued out of Sparks Township Court. The warrant was issued June 25, 2025. Bail: $739.
