Storey County officials are advising the public that Six Mile Canyon Road is currently closed as of Monday morning and drivers should use caution on Geiger Grade following rockslides in the area.

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) advises motorists to use caution while traveling on Geiger Grade due to potential rockslides.

Storey County Public Works crews are on scene and working diligently to clear debris and safely reopen Six Mile Canyon Road. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes until further notice.
