
Carson City area casino gaming generated revenue was up 1.52 percent in June, according to figures released Thursday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Statewide, casinos reported an 8.06 percent increase.
Casinos in Carson City, including Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Lake Tahoe, generated gaming revenue, also known as “gaming win” of $11,224,413 for the month.
Meanwhile, gaming revenue at south shore Lake Tahoe was down 28.75 percent in June compared to June 2021.
Statewide, revenue was up 8 percent compared to June 2021. Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,277,068,155 for the month of June 2022.
Casinos in Reno and Sparks also reported gaming revenue decreases for the month. Casinos in Reno were down 4.84 percent, while those in Sparks reported a decrease of 10.06 percent.
