The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Battle of the Badges K9 Softball Tournament, taking place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Centennial Park, 5400 Heritage Way, Carson City.
Gates open at 8 a.m. for team check-ins, and the games will start at 10 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy:
- Exciting Softball Game Entertainment from local first responder agencies
- Raffle Tickets for purchase to win fun and exciting prizes donated from local businesses
- On-Site Food and refreshments available for purchase at Centennial Park Concession
- Carson City Sheriff K9 Unit merchandise available for purchase
The Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament is designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, first responders, and the local communities they serve every day. The funds raised from this event will benefit the Carson City Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, providing resources which help ensure our K9 teams remain healthy and prepared to serve the people of Carson City.
