UPDATE: The juvenile who was last seen July 4th, was found safe and is back home with her parents, according to Carson City Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Brett Bindley.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.
Xochitl Garcilazo, 17, ran away from her home. She was last seen on July 4th and reported to have gone to Mills Park with some friends later that same day but never returned home. Her whereabouts are currently unknown, but she is likely around Gardnerville, NV.
Xochitl is described as a Hispanic female juvenile, 5’7” tall, 210 pounds, with black hair and a red stripe in the front, and brown eyes. She also has a nose piercing in the right nostril.
