The Carson City Treasurer’s Office is announcing that the real property tax bills for Carson City are now ready for the new tax year of 2025-2026, which runs from Tuesday, July 1, 2025 through Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Property owners should begin to receive their property tax bills in the mail within the next 17 days, and if any property owners have a question or do not receive a property tax bill by Thursday, July 31, 2025, they can contact the Carson City Treasurer’s Office at 775-887-2092 or treasurer@carson.org. Nevada law sets the due dates for property tax payments, and the four due dates for this current tax year will be:

Property owners can make payments for their property taxes through any of the following options:
- Online at carsoncitynv.devnetwedge.com/
- Online bill-pay through your bank (please be sure to include your entire parcel number and address)
- By telephone: 888-837-9291 (follow the voice prompts)
- In-person or by mail: Carson City Treasurer’s Office 201 N. Carson Street, Suite 5 Carson City, Nevada 89701
- Green payment box located on the east side of City Hall, 201 N. Carson Street, Carson City, Nev.
- Accompanying this year’s real property tax bill, Carson City property owners will find two useful notices:
- On the real property tax bill, Carson City property owners will see the property tax cap status for their parcel, which is a new feature on the annual real property tax bill, and this will advise property owners if their property is listed at the low or high property tax cap rate based on the property tax claim form which the property owner has filed with the Carson City Assessor’s Office. The Carson City Clerk Recorder’s Office will have an announcement on how property owners can enroll themselves at no charge in Carson City’s Recording Notification Service. This Recording Notification Service will notify property owners if any documents are recorded under their name or Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN).

The Carson City Treasurer’s Office reminds all property owners to verify if they have a mortgage lender that makes the property tax payments on their behalf or if the property owner has the responsibility to makethe timely payment for all property taxes owed.
