Lanes will be reduced on southbound U.S. 395 just south of Carson City July 9-11 as the Nevada Department of Transportation makes roadside drainage improvements.

One lane will be closed on southbound U.S. 395 from 8a.m. to 3p.m. July 9-11 between Topsy Lane and Jacks Valley Road. Crews will make drainage improvements, including using asphalt millings to stabilize roadside median and reduce erosion.

Drivers are reminded to leave extra travel time and travel safely through the road work zone.

The road work schedule is subject to change.
