A 41-year old woman was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI second offense and driving on a revoked license for DUI, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.

Deputies were dispatched at 7:45 p.m. for an attempt to locate a possible intoxicated driver. Dispatch advised the reporting party stated a female had entered a liquor store and was acting intoxicated, displaying a strong odor of alcohol on her person. The reporting party further advised the female was driving a vehicle and gave a description.

A sergeant located the vehicle that matched the description and followed it for a driving pattern. The sergeant conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Saliman Road.

Deputies arrived and the driver identified herself. The sergeant conducted a records check, which showed she had a revoked license for driving under the influence and is required to have an interlock device installed on her vehicle.

The woman agreed to standardized field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment on the tests. She provided a preliminary breath test of .199 and was arrested for suspicion of DUI second. At jail she agreed to an evidentiary breath test with results of .175 and 178. Bail: $2,500.
