The Carson City Grocery Outlet is proud to once again participate in the annual Independence from Hunger donation drive, helping ensure that local families have access to nutritious food when they need it most.
Now through the end of July, customers can donate any amount at checkout. One hundred percent of every donation made at the Carson City Grocery Outlet goes directly toward purchasing food for the Northern Nevada Dream Center, helping keep donations local and making an immediate impact in our community.
As a thank-you for supporting the campaign, customers who donate $5 or more will receive a $5 off coupon to use on a future purchase.
The Northern Nevada Dream Center, located at 3579 Highway 50 East, Suite #211, Carson City, serves individuals and families facing food insecurity, homelessness, poverty, addiction, and other life challenges.
Through programs including food distribution, mobile and door-to-door food pantries, job readiness training, recovery support, education, and community outreach, the Dream Center provides hope and practical assistance to thousands of Northern Nevada residents each year. Their Reach the Hungry program distributes food to more than 1,500 people every month, helping provide hundreds of thousands of meals annually to neighbors in need.
We’re also inviting the local business community to join us in making an even greater impact.
