History Program: Mirages and Mayhem: Big Dreams and Land Schemes
This lively, history program races through a few of the West’s most colorful land schemes — from the pine scented promises of Tahoe Paradise and the grandiose dreams of California City to the quirky fallout of the Small Tracts Act and the idealistic, occasionally chaotic socialist commune in western Nevada.
