The Carson City Historical Society invites the community to an engaging afternoon with Guy W. Farmer on Saturday, July 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Nevada Room at the Carson City Senior Center.
Rather than a traditional lecture, Guy will lead an open conversation exploring patriotism, perspective, and the ever-evolving meaning of America as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary.
A veteran journalist, former U.S. diplomat, and accomplished storyteller, Guy has spent decades reporting on America and representing our country abroad. His unique career has given him a rare perspective on how the United States is viewed both at home and around the world. Through personal stories, historical reflections, and thoughtful discussion, he invites the audience to become part of the conversation.
Whether you’re a lifelong history enthusiast or simply curious about America’s journey, this promises to be an afternoon of insight, reflection, and meaningful dialogue.
