Good morning, Stargazers. Here is the astrological forecast for Northern Nevada today through June 28.

The first full week of Cancer season arrives with long light, warm evenings and a Moon growing brighter each night. This is not a quiet “float downstream” kind of week. Venus in Leo wants feeling to be visible, beautiful and unmistakable, while the Sun in Cancer asks what is actually safe, rooted and worth protecting. By the weekend, Mars enters Gemini, and the pace picks up. The desert may look still from a distance, but under the sagebrush, everything is moving.

Aries
The week asks you to take home, family and private matters seriously without turning them into a battlefield. Something tender needs protection, not domination. By the weekend, Mars moving into Gemini sharpens your tongue and speeds up your thoughts. Good — use it for a necessary conversation. Just don’t throw sparks into dry grass and act surprised when it catches.

Taurus
Your words carry more weight than usual this week, especially with siblings, neighbors, errands, texts and local plans. Keep it plain. You don’t need to overexplain the truth for it to be valid. Chiron’s recent move into Taurus may also be stirring older questions about worth, comfort and security. Let the answer be practical: what actually helps you feel steady?

Gemini
Money, values and self-respect are the real topics, even when the conversation pretends to be about something else. Watch where you are spending energy to be liked, included or seen as easygoing. By Sunday, Mars enters your sign and brings a jolt of momentum. It may feel like the gate swings open. Pick a direction before you sprint.

Cancer
This is your season, but it begins with a question: what do you want to grow around you now? The waxing Moon gives the week a building feeling, like irrigation slowly reaching the far rows. You may be more visible than usual, even if you would rather stay private. Let people see the real version, not the polished decoy.

Leo
Venus in your sign gives you warmth, charm and presence, but this week also asks for quiet honesty. Not everything needs an audience. Something behind the scenes may be clarifying: a private feeling, an old attachment, a fear you’re tired of dressing up as confidence. By the weekend, friends and community matters get louder. Choose the circle that lets you breathe.

Virgo
The week emphasizes friends, networks and future plans, but you may need to sort the true allies from the convenient ones. A group effort can move forward if everyone is honest about capacity. By the weekend, career energy picks up fast. Mars in Gemini may bring opportunities, pressure or both. Don’t confuse being busy with being strategically useful.

Libra
Your public life is lit this week: work, reputation, leadership and the question of what people expect from you. You may be asked to carry more than usual, but that does not mean you should accept every load. Venus in Leo helps through friends or community support. By Sunday, a wider horizon opens — travel, learning, publishing or a long-range plan may start tugging.

Scorpio
This week wants your perspective to widen. If you have been staring at the same problem too long, step back until the whole valley comes into view. Travel, education, legal matters, faith or publishing may be highlighted. By the weekend, Mars enters Gemini and turns up the heat around shared money, trust or emotional entanglements. Be direct, not destructive.

Sagittarius
The week may bring deeper conversations around money, intimacy, grief, debts or obligations. That sounds heavy, but clarity is better than pretending. Venus in Leo offers a wider view and maybe even a little grace from a distance. By Sunday, Mars enters your partnership zone. Expect more bluntness in close relationships. Handle it like trail dust: notice it, clear it, keep moving.

Capricorn
Relationships are the main terrain this week. Partnership, contracts, clients, close friends or open conflicts may ask for attention. The approaching Capricorn Full Moon, just after this week ends, is already building in the background. You are moving toward a personal checkpoint. Don’t wait until everything peaks to say what needs to be said.

Aquarius
This week asks you to look at the daily systems that hold your life together: work habits, health routines, chores, schedules and the little maintenance tasks no one applauds. Make them cleaner. By the weekend, Mars enters Gemini and brings more creative fire, flirtation or play. Good. You need some oxygen, not just obligation.

Pisces
Creativity, romance, children, joy and self-expression are highlighted this week, but don’t make pleasure pass a productivity test. Let something be beautiful because it is beautiful. A work or health routine may need adjustment, but not punishment. By Sunday, Mars enters Gemini and stirs home or family matters. Move furniture, change the pattern, clear the air.

Guide for Stargazers

The Moon grows brighter each night this week as it moves from waxing gibbous toward the June 29 Full Moon, so darker-sky observing will get harder as the week goes on. For Carson City, that means the best casual viewing is less about faint deep-sky objects and more about planets, bright stars and the Moon itself.

Venus is still the easy evening catch, bright in the western sky after sunset, while Jupiter is also in the early evening west but sinking lower as the month goes on. Mercury is technically part of the western evening picture this month, but it is low and much harder to catch without a clean horizon.

Before sunrise, Saturn is getting higher in the eastern sky, with reddish Mars lower near the horizon. For a simple stargazing plan: look west after sunset for Venus, then try a pre-dawn check later in the week for Saturn and Mars. The Summer Triangle — Vega, Deneb and Altair — is also becoming a reliable seasonal marker as summer nights settle in.
