The Nevada Highway Patrol on Monday identified a South Carolina resident who died in a fatal motorcycle crash with a pickup last month on US-95 in Fallon.
According to NHP, Kerek Williams, 32, died in the May 25 crash that happened at US-95 and Lazy Heart Lane. Troopers were called to the crash at 2:21 p.m.
A preliminary investigation shows that a white 2012 Ford F-350 pickup was traveling southbound on US-95 approaching Lazy Heart Lane.
A tan Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle was traveling northbound on US-95 approaching Lazy Heart Lane. The Ford made a left turn onto Lazy Heart Lane and the motorcycle struck the right rear side of the Ford, according to NHP.
Williams was ejected from the motorcycle and was declared deceased on scene, according to NHP.
The crash is being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol Northern Command West Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) – NHP Case No. 210501783.
