If you’ve been by Carson City’s Mills Park in the past few weeks, you may have noticed some hullabaloo at the southwest corner — that’s because the expansion of the pickleball courts are underway!
The existing tennis courts are being replaced with post-tension concrete pickleball courts, which will include new nets and posts, an increased footprint, and separation fencing between the courts.
The courts, and some surrounding areas such as the surrounding grass areas and some sidewalks are closed while the project is underway.
Please avoid the area for your and the workers’ safety.
The project is meant to be completed by September; we’ll update as we get closer with an updated opening date.
