Gusty winds are responsible for a semi that flipped on its side Wednesday evening in the northbound lane of I-580 south of the Bowers exit in Washoe Valley, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident was reported shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the northbound lane. The northbound lane has been closed temporarily due to the incident, according to NHP.
Troopers advised to expect long delays or find an alternate route.
